According to new research by Generation Ireland and McKinsey & Company and supported by JPMorganChase, Ireland is in a positive position with current unemployment levels at a record low and the attainment of tertiary education high.It is estimated that 40,000 new tech roles will be created between now and 2030, so the times ahead look exciting for qualified professionals. However, the country is also facing a significant tech skills gap that has the potential to hinder the development of Ireland’s technology industry.
