McKinsey Social Initiative Receives $3.2 Million from Walmart
Grant will enable Generation program to expand into retail professions in the United States
Generation will expand its youth employment program into retail professions in the United States with the support of a $3.2 million grant from Walmart Stores to McKinsey Social Initiative (MSI). Generation, the first program of MSI, will use the grant to develop a training curriculum for middle-skilled retail jobs, deliver training to 650 young people in multiple U.S. cities, and perform analysis to understand the return on investment of this type of training for both retail employers and young people.
